Viewing purchased DVDs of recent LIVE Events at the 92nd St. Y in New York allows us to share these programs at convenient times. We are asking $12 at the door for each program. Insights and candid reflections about national leadership with two men deeply involved as a voice of their Presidents during challenging times.

Alan Dershowitz and Jeffrey Toobin.  Alan Dershowitz is a preeminent defense lawyer involved in many extraordinary cases throughout his career.  Jeffrey Toobin is the author of The Oath: The Obama White House and the Supreme Court, a New Yorker writer, and CNN analyst.  Their exchange will include aspects of Dershowitz’s life and career, as well as touch on some contemporary topics (how could it not?).  Thane Rosenbaum of Fordham Law School will moderate.

Karen Armstrong and Thomas Cahill, with Rabbi Jennifer Krause­— “Meeting of the Minds: On Compassion.” Karen Armstrong is the author of several books including The Case for God and A History of God: The 4,000 Year Quest of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.  Thomas Cahill is the author of How the Irish Saved Civilization and The Gifts of the Jews, among others.
